If you load http://www.macdevcenter.com/, Firefox will load the CPU to 100%
until the window is closed.  If macdevcenter.com is opened as part of a set of
tabs (Bookmarks>Foo>Open In Tabs), the CPU usage will go to 100% and will
quickly crash Firefox.  Firefox must at this point be killed manually via Force
Quit or the Terminal

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Firefox
2. Load a bunch of bookmarks as tabs with macdevcenter amongst them
(Bookmarks>Foo>Open In Tabs, where Foo contains multiple bookmarks including
macdevcenter.com)
3. Firefox goes to 100% CPU load and eventually hangs completly
4. Manually kill Firefox
Actual Results:  
Firefox crashed, loosing all open tabs and the data entered in forms therein

Expected Results:  
Firefox should have remained stable

This involves TalBack crash numbers TB9961539Q and TB9716036E.
Just a note: Works fine on WindowsXP Firefox 1.0.7

Both of those IDs are long past expired. Could you crash again and post some fresher ones?

Here's all my crashes for 1.5RC3  I think most of them are this issue.

Talkback hasn't been catching all the crashes either.  I would estimate I'm crashing 2-4 times every day.
you have new object creation, garbage collection and a couple of random crashes.

I want to dupe this as bug 314974.
I can't reproduce this on windows or mac os x 10.4.6 with recent builds. We have had a lot of fixing since this report. Marking works for me. Please reopen if you can reproduce with a recent 1.5.0.5, 2.0 or 1.9 build
