interesting posts about his favorite character, the Paladin. In reply to a
thread about how it's unbalanced that the Paladin's auras don't cost any mana,

>Kelly replied</a> that Paladins will always be using various combat skills with
the left mouse button, while keeping auras active on the right, and that yes,
Paladin's do have to watch out to not run out of mana. Another post asked what
happens if he does run out of mana, with an attack skill on the left mouse
button, and you can see Kelly's answer to that one <a

Online gaming service <a href="http://www.heat.net" target=_new" >Heat.net</a>
is running a promotion they are calling <a

target="_new" >Diablo Fight Nights</a>. What exactly this is remains something
of a mystery, but apparently all you have to do is be in the right heat.net
channel at 7pm PST each night this week, and you might win a copy of System
Shock II. Why System Shock II? Good question. Perhaps Heat.net had a bunch of
them lying around and needed some way to give them out? So play Diablo and win
System Shock II, a game that got very good reviews, so it's certainly a step up

from Blizzard North, Diablo II characters and accounts on <a
href="http://battle.net" target="_blank" >Battle.net</a> are two separate
things. You may have up to eight character names on your one Battle.net
account. (The number of B.net accounts you may have will be limited as well.)
Account names are unique throughout all of Battle.net - there will be just one
of each name - whereas character names are unique per realm.<br><br>When someone
wishes to message you, s/he may do so, from any game environment ? Diablo,
WarCraft:Battle.net Edition, StarCraft/BroodWar, or Diablo II. The person
simply needs to do a ?/msg Fred? (if Fred is your account name, and isn?t it
everybody?s?), type the content of the message, and no matter which character
you are currently playing, you will receive the words as chat on your
screen.<br><br>Another bit about characters and accounts: According to our
Blizz source, accounts will carry over from the existing Battle.net into Diablo
II. So accounts set up now will be transferable, which means, of course, that
you can sort of ?reserve? your Diablo II account name now.</p>

Is it just me or is that HTML really screwed up? There's multiple <body> tags... Is this page compliant?... i doubt it.

Partly because of the evil HTML (as pointed out by ryanm@cfl.rr.com) and partly because doing any work with this bug would be a pain in the bum due to the massive amount of HTML pasted into the comment, I'm marking this one as INVALID. When diabloii.net have even vaguely conformant HTML on their home page, we'll consider trying to get Mozilla to understand it ;-) I've sent a message to their webmaster telling them about this bug.
