User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050930 SeaMonkey/1.1a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20050930 SeaMonkey/1.1a Navigating the preferences window by keyboard, using arrow keys in the category list, has no effect on the content of the settings panel. A right/left arrows expand and collapse catogories, and arrow up/down changes the highlighted category, but nothing changes the content of the settings panel except a mouse click. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. From the browser, open the preferences window. The Navigator category should be automatically expanded and the Navigator preferences show in the settings panel. 2. Arrow up. The Appearance category is highlighted. Actual Results: The content of the settings panel does not change to Appearance fields, but sticks with Navigator fields. Expected Results: Selecting a different category by keyboard should change the displayed settings accordingly. mozilla 1.7x does not have this problem. I don't think the build from September 26 had the problem, either, but will confirm that.
Confirmed that the 20050926 build does not have the problem. Looking through bonsai for checkins since then, the description for bug 309099 sounds related.
Whatever caused this bug seems to have cleared itself up. Mark WFM.
