User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Displays "Right-click disabled" message and when I click OK, the context menu shows up as if right click is functioning normally. Also the dialog box remain unchanged and OK is really clicked when i click it the second time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to the above URL 2. Click on images under left-hand side menu 3. Right click on the image(s) that appear in the main frame.
I like not having my UI messed with, and so do many other users. Anyways, there's a pref for this: dom.event.contextmenu.enabled I believe. But screwing with a user's browser UI functionality is just plain wrong. How would you feel if flushing your toilet turned the shower on? Pretty pissed off I'd imagine, and that's what happens with many of us who expect to see a context menu, but don't unless we change some prefs.
