User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: 1.0.7 20050923 A Message with at least 1 .pdf-attachment sent by TB for Mac will fail to save all attachments in TB for win. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send an e-mail with a pdf-file (and perhaps some other files) attached in TB for Mac. 2. Receive e-mail with TB for win 3. Try to save the attachment(s) with TB for Win to disk. Actual Results: Nothing happens for all attachments. Just the Dialog asking for the save-path is shown. Then no error occours. No file is written to disk. Expected Results: it should save the attachments as .pdf-binaries in the chosen directory. - occured in TB with all extensions disabled. - manually extracting and decoding the base64-mime-parts from the msg-source produced the desired files. - all is fine when the files were sent from a windows-tb-client - workaround for the sender: zip the .pdf-file before attaching. other files are sent correctly - perhaps a problem with MIME-types generated by the mac-tb-client?
the message was saved directly from the "view message source" dialog. only domains where replaced by ***.

(In reply to comment #0) > - perhaps a problem with MIME-types generated by the mac-tb-client? That seems feasible; see bug 231759 comment 2. I can confirm that the attachment does not save, using TB 1.5/1.6; at that other bug, a similar attachment will save but doesn't open in the expected Acrobat when double-clicked.
