I'm not usually a fan of hard-coded color schemes, but since I use a
light-on-dark OS theme, it's extremely painful to read stuff that people send
with a hard-coded white background. In this case, it really should be
appropriate for tbird to use a hard-coded black color (which is what the sender
assumes), rather than the default OS color or the whitish color I've chosen in
tbird for reading text-only emails.

Reproducible: Always
I think I've seen this problem, or a variation, reported in an earlier bug, but I can't locate it now.

A workaround: if you encounter a message that's hard to read, open the "about:config" options, find browser.display.use_document_colors and set it False, then reload the message. Or, use View | Message Body As | Simple HTML.

Reporter, does the issue still occur in the latest supported 2.0.0.x / Shredder trunk nightlies?

(1.5.0.x is now end-of-life and the latest supported 2.0.0.x is 2.0.0.16)
