User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050908 Firefox/1.4 This bug appears at least once per day for me, and it seems like it happens when a large download is proceeding in the background (using firefox). as soon as the download finishes, i close and restart firefox and the open in new tab functionality is restored. all i can attribute it to is when a download is going on... Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have just the main window open (no tabs) 2. Start a large download 3. Minimize download window 4. Right click a bookmark in the bookmark toolbar list on the top of the screen, and see if "open in new tab" functionality is present. note it won't be greyed out if it's not working, it just fails to open a tab. Actual Results: nothing happens!! Expected Results: open bookmark in a new tab no theme, standard theme. version 1.5b1, windows xpsp2. using uxtheme.dll patch and a custom mstheme style.
Can you please test in safe mode. I have seen this problem happen with a few of the tabbrowser extensions installed.

No response. Reporter, please reopen this if you still see the issue in Firefox's safe mode, and with Firefox 1.5 final.
