It happened with Thunderbird 1.0.6 and it happens again with 1.0.7.

Folders, accounts, emails and everything disappears, like it was the first 
time you run Thunderbird.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Thunderbird

Actual Results:  
Folders, accounts, emails and everything disappears.

Expected Results:  
Nothing

I'm tired of this issue.

Not really, it shows just the LOCAL Folders (I have several accounts+folders)
and the Wizard (to config the email or to import settings).
Do you see this in safe mode? Start > Programs > Mozilla Thunderbird >
Thunderbird (Safe Mode)
I haven't tried Safe Mode, I kind of "save the day" due the fact that I use to
do backups but not everyday.

BTW, the funny thing is that you just can IMPORT to Thunderbird
(Tools-->Import), but there's no way to EXPORT.

That isn't nice.
This is very similar to bug 304743.
Same to me with FF and Thunderbird, but without restarting WinXP. About 3 times 
each one, but not at the same time, sometimes is Thunderbird and sometimes 
Firefox.

And I don't use Thunderbird extensions/themes.
Jeez. How did I not notice this? All you need to do is start Thunderbird with
the profile manager and choose the profile named "default".

Can I do it now? I restored a backup.

I'll try it next time.
WORKSFORME for now. Please reopen if it happens again and you can't fix it with
the steps I described.

Oops! I did it again.

Start the computer, start Thunderbird...

No folder shown, just the Account Wizard.

And the Profile Manager / Safe Mode doesn't solve the issue.

The Profile Manager just shows the "Default" profile (and doesn't solve the bug
).

Any idea?

I can try whatever you want, otherwise I'll have to restore the backup.
