Description

Since we are likely to encounter problems in the wild with software update, I
think it would be good for us to preserve a copy of the last update.log file for
debugging purposes. Currently, we delete the log file after running updater
regardless of whether or not software update succeeded or failed. This makes
debugging failures really tough.

v1 patch

This is a simple patch that just makes sure that we keep a copy of update.log
around if it exists.
