The site even blocks non-MS browsers and OSes, when spoofing UA as MSIE6/Win.
All Gecko based browsers (and all Apple WebKit based browsers) on Mac OS X
are unable to access this site.
HTML source code of site is a complete mess that appears to show a total
disregard for users of browsers that don't use the IE/Trident engine.
This site needlessly all non-MS software and OSes from access.
Reproducible: Always

Visit http://howdidido.co.uk/bury-golf-club/ to access Bury Golf CLub's recent
competiton results.
Or, try to access the website homepage at http://howdidido.co.uk/ . . .
Actual Results:
Automatically re-directed to a page displaying blocker message, saying the site
can only be viewed on PC's with MSIE v4.x or higher with JavaScript enabled.
Expected Results:
Expected to see results of recent competitions at the local golf club.

Any progress on this? The broken website in question, is still broken.

Greg, you are welcome to e-mail the webmaster and explain to him how stupid it is to block all non-IE browsers.

I contacted the webmaster by e-mail before I filed this T.E. bug report, but did
receive any response. It's now 3 months later, and I've still not heard anything.

The website in question is still very much broken. It's coming up to
six months since I filed this Tech Evangelism bug report in October.
Is there any likelyhood the clueless idiots in charge of that site
ever seeing the error of there ways? Or, is there more likelyhood
of me seeing Elvis Presley working on a supermarket checkout?!?

Over 18 months since I first reported this, the broken website is still
horrendously broken, and nothing has been done to resolve the issue.
They're clearly too clueless to realise that their potential audience
is gradually dwindling the longer they keep this stupidity going.
Severity: normal → major

Greg, have you e-mailed the webmaster again explaining the situation? It's unfortunate that the website is still doing this, but commenting here isn't going to make them anymore aware of the problem.

Having just checked HowDidIDo.co.uk with SeaMonkey 1.1.11, it appears they've
finally lifted their pointless and stupid ban against visitors not using IE.
I've only checked this within Windows XP. Anyone else assigned to this, if
you're using Mac OS X, Linux and UNIX systems, please confirm if the site
also works on OSes beyond the MS Windows platform.
If not, please comment, and re-open this bug. Until then it's RESOLVED/FIXED.
