To reproduce, go to http://www.mapquest.com/ and select "online maps". Enter "maitland" for the city, "fl" for the state/province, "usa" for the country and click "get map". When the resulting page finishes loading, everything but the actual map (and map navigation controls) is displayed, but the map itself is missing. I successfully reproduced this problem after exiting and restarting mozilla. The page displays correctly in Netscape 4.7. The build id is 2000022916 (M14). Linux is Red Hat 6.0 with upgrades. Kernel is 2.2.10.

not seeing this on m15 nightly reporter - please get a m15 nightly (of mozilla.org) and see if this still happens.
Component: HTML Element → ImageLib

jimt@mindspring.com, you don't say explicitly, but other images do display? If not, you may have a jpeg library issue -- there is a bug open for making sure that the required library is packaged with Mozilla on Linux. The map showing Maitland, FL, is displayed by Mozilla 2000-03-17-08-M15 and 2000-03-13-18-M15-nb1b on WinNT.
Other images displayed correctly. I have since obtained an M15-nightly and tried again, however I am unable to confirm the bug, as mapquest has changed it's html. The current mapquest pages display correctly. Great work!
