Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051004 SeaMonkey/1.1a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051004 SeaMonkey/1.1a In Mozilla >= 1.7.10 with JavaScript disabled, middle-clicking to position the scrollbar also results in a URL being loaded from the clipboard. This did not happen in <=1.7.8. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla with a fresh profile. 2. Edit preferences and disable JavaScript for Navigator. 3. Browse to a web page with a scrollbar. 4. Select some text. 5. Press the middle button in the scrollbar. Actual Results: If the selected text represents a URL, the contents of the document window are replaced with the page loaded from the URL. Otherwise, Mozilla reports an error that the URL could not be loaded. Expected Results: Clicking in the scrollbar should only scroll the document and not load a new document. Tested on 1.7.10 and 1.9a1 on Linux and 1.7.12 on Solaris. Correct behaviour has been observed in 1.7.8 on Solaris and 1.7.6 on Linux. Correct behaviour is also observed whenever JavaScript is enabled within the browser.
