Coping & pasting a smaller snipped the problem don't happened Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Copy a not really short text from a web page using Firefox 2. Pasted it in Thunderbird mail composer window. Actual Results: The text resulting was different from the text copied. Expected Results: The text pasted is always the same of the text copied. I checked the text copied pasting it in notepad and in Thunderbird. The first was correct, the latter corrupted. The weird thing is that a "vv" became "w" and "l" became "I" The text was copy&pasted two time with the same result. Coping & pasting a smaller snipped the problem don't happened. Retring again this, the corruption happened again in a different way (only "vv" to "w" change. Repasting the same text after the first C&P the corruption don't happened. It don't happened pasting it a reply to another mail. Trying again, it happened more times is a C&P the block without adding a newline. Adding the newline the corruption don't happened again.
This is a very strange report. I'm not able to reproduce the problem, using FF 1.0.7 and TB 1.5b2-1006. I tried copying the first four paragraphs (there's a "vv" in the fourth paragraph) and pasting it resulted in exactly what you'd expect. Exactly which fragment of text did you copy?
I rechecked the text and I find I did a mistake. There is actually a writing error in the text. Simply the text have two times the same word, the first is wroted right the second not. This confused me as I focalized on the single word and not on the surronding text. I'm sorry for the hassle caused.
