311504 - Embedded sound does not function well in the newest Firefox build

On the site that I have mentioned, the embedded sound works but not fully for
the water fall sound last longer than this, which it's full functionality can be
fully seen in internet exporer. And also if you go to
http://dark.unitz.ca/~cross/privy(1).html, and press on the no button, the
embedded sound therein, does not function at all in the newest build of Firefox
which is 1.0.7 . It functions in Internet Explorer but not in Firefox.

Reproducible: Sometimes



Expected Results:  
That the embedded sound works properly.

I don't get any sound at all in IE; in both Opera and Firefox the waterfall
sound cuts out after a bit.

In all 3 browsers the "Access to study Denied" sound comes up fine.

WFM -- any more details about what's different in your setup?

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
