There are a number of advertisers who seem to be getting through despite my pop-up blocker being on. One offender is the above URL opens in a new window...it is becoming more and more frequent. With others, it appears that banner or vertical ad is opening all by itself in a new window instead of in the Yahoo email web page. When this window opens, it becomes the active window, even if I am using another application. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions. Doug Stern Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. If I am in my Yahoo email account using the Firefox browser, it will occur at least eventually. Actual Results: See description...Window opens and you are taken to it, irrespective of the active application. Expected Results: Blocked "pop-up" or let me view ad on the web page.
Additional bit of information. The error often occurs, while in another tab (i.e. not the yahoo email tab) or in another instance the browser, AND I am selecting text for copying...=> Then I get the new window, moving me to the URL below. Though I have had the same phenomena happen while the computer was not being used at all. And it does not always go to the URL mentioned below. Interesting, eh? Thanks! Doug

Is this still reproducible?
This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here.
