311829 - New bookmarks file when quit Firefox

Every time when I quit FireFox a new bookmarks file is create.

I was using FireFox 10.0.4. Then I was going to backup the bookmark file, and
found the problem. So I delete the Firefox folder, the firefox program and
change to 10.0.7 but the problem still the same. 

When I first run the Firefox 10.0.7 it's created two files, named
"bookmarks.html" and "bookmarks.bak. Then when I start to use the programa, and
every time when I quit them, it's create a new "bookmarks-X.html" file (X is a
number, start in 1 and is still counting, 2, 3...).

This happen often. When I found this bug I have about 300 bookmark files...
(about 200 bytes eache one... 5 megas!).

Even I delete manualy they start again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox, 
2. Open some page like www.santander.com.br
3. Quit Firefox app




It's happen with or without any theme. I try I prefere to ask to not save forms
or password, but it's still happing the problem.

This topic doesn't help, it's was a mix os OS system, and every system has one
type  of solution!

This one helped. It's a MAC topic, and show the problem and a solution!

It's a spotlight (for 10.4,Tiger system) how's make a index and cause the
confusion on Firefox bookmarks. You need to ask spotlight preference to don't
index the folder ("user"/Library/Application
Support/Firefox/Profiles.

Go to system preference, than spotlight, Privacy and add the folder
