In general, the control key on Windows = the command key on the Mac. But not
*quite* always, so the docs are sometimes wrong.
The one I know about is that command-tab cycles among applications, but
control-tab cycles among Firefox tabs (a darn useful feature, btw). Likewise,
shift-command-tab goes to the previous application, while shift-control-tab goes
to the previous tab.
So you have to fix the documentation to differentiate. I know you can do this
because the number keys for moving among tabs are already differentiated.
Thanks much,
Avi
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try command-tab
2. Try control-tab
3. Compare the difference
Actual Results:
there was a difference
Expected Results:
Documentation should be correct.

See bug 299050. In 1.5, Ctrl+Tab is no longer supported on Mac for tab switching.
Also, as far as I can see this is documented correctly in Firifox 1.0.x (under
"Keyboard Shortcuts", it says "Ctrl+Tab" (and "Ctrl+Shift+Tab"). Where have you
seen the wrong documentation?

looks like the correct key combo for switching tabs in Firefox 1.5 is Cmd+Opt+arrow where the arrow is either left or right to move to the next tab in that direction.

As far as I can tell, David fixed this in rev 1.33, when he changed the page to say Cmd+Opt+tab, rather than Ctrl/Cmd+Tab (as cited in comment 2).
Is Cmd+Opt+tab still correct?
