Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2
At www.msn.com, my home page, the news and content displayed on the page
should update daily, sometimes twice daily. When I open msn.com in Mozilla,
the page does not update on a regular basis. This has been happening for a
couple of weeks, and has gotten worse. As of today, I have been opening the
site for about 5 days now only to find the same content every day. Everything
updates fine in Internet Explorer.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open www.msn.com, take note of content, close msn.com
2.Open www.msn.com the next day, content SHOULD have changed
3.
Actual Results:
The news/content/images were exactly the same as the day before, and the day
before that, and sometimes the day before that.
Expected Results:
The news/content/images should have been different and current.
I just recently noticed that Mozilla has followed Internet Explorer by letting
users of msn.com scroll through content in the news box near the top of the
page. If the viewer doesn't scroll, the image/links will change
automatically. This seems to coincide with the time I started noticing the
daily content was not updating on a regular basis.
