Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915

WhenI opened Firefox I received a notification that there was an update
available. I clicked on it, saved and opened the update file. At the end of the
install the dialogue said to restart. When I did and attempted to open Firefox,
the following error message comes up "The program must close to allow a
previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart"

I have restarted and the same error message came up.

Thinking that the copy of the update file I saved might be defective, I deleted
it and attempted to install directly from your website. After a new install,
the same error message came up after attempting to open Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download Firefox Setup 1.0.7
2.Activate the Setup
3.Launch Firefox at the finish of the install

Actual Results:
The error message detailed above comes up.

Expected Results:
It should have opened Firefox.

I am concerned that I will lose my bookmarks when this is fixed.
The solution is to delete the xpicleanup.dat file in your Firefox program dir.
