I have been unable to run Firefox extesnion update. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Firefox in desiered desktop environmetn Kde 3.4.3, or gnome 2.12 2.Star software update form Edit>Prefrences>advanced>Software Update>check now 3. Updates for the extensions and the software is done. 4.Message appears on the same frame "Firefox found the following available updates:" 5.At this point list of updates are invisible. 6. Clicking on the "install Now" button will result in a new frame opneing, and installation hangs while the mozilla circle keeps animating, and the percentage progress bar remains empty. Actual Results: The actual installation hangs, percentage bar remains empty. Expected Results: Update would be compeleted and new versions of all extensions would be installed.

Confirming bug on mozilla-firefox 1.0.7 on kubuntu breezy 5.10
Is this still a problem with Firefox 1.5?
No response - resolving -> wfm I suspect this was a distro specific problem
