Expected Result: Messages would be downloaded and placed in a folder

Actual Result: Nothing at all

Using build # 2000022414
schmitty2000, are you using POP or IMAP?
I am using a pop server

Works fine for me using a current build on NT. Lisa or Esther, could you try it
on a Mac? schmitty2000, could you try a more recent build? See
http://www.mozilla.org/binaries.html
I just tried build number 2000030909. Unfortunately I cannot test to see if the
get message button works because I cannot get throught the account wizard. I get
the wizard to come up, then I get to the screen that has you enter you name and
email address. I can enter my name, but I cannot goto the other box(both by
pressing tab and clicking in it with the cursor). So because of this, I can't
check with the latest daily build. I'll try again tommorow. Maybe this is another
bug perhaps.
What you are seeing is bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31186.
Please try today's build when available since that bug was marked fixed.

Phil - Get messages does work on Mac - it passed our smoke test in yesterday
afternoon's build.

Using build # 2000031509 on Mac 8.6, I still cannot get the get mail button to
work. I have tried everything possible, and cannot get Mozilla to even try to
receive my mail. I am using a POP account. I have set up my preferences with the
correct server name and ID. I have tried the get new messages button as well as
the menu item, and still cannot get Mozilla to even bring up a window saying
contacting server. If I am doing something wrong, please help me and this bug
will be forgetten, but until then, I have to say that it is definately a bug for
me atleast.
Can you attach your prefs file?
Do you mean my Mozilla Registry from my preferences folder?
