This appears to effect normal and targeted hyperlinks. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Firefox for a long period of time, perhaps several hours. 2. Watch for links that fail to open or appear to not function correctly.
Does this happen with extensions disabled?

It has not seemed to happen any time of late.
