User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051011 SeaMonkey/1.1a Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051011 SeaMonkey/1.1a Though I have mail.server.server3.downloadUnreadOnly specified (via Account Settings), right clicking on newsgroup / Properties / Offline / Donwload now downloads all messages, including the read ones. This problem doesn't seem to appear if I do it via File / Offline / Download/Sync now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right click on newsgroup / Properties / Offline / Donwload now 2. 3. Actual Results: Download all messages Expected Results: Download only unread messages
(In reply to comment #0) I don't know if this is the right place to say it, but I think the Download now option should be moved/copied to the newsgroup context menu. These days there's seldom the issue of online/offline, and the option is most useful to download all new messages at once rather than waiting for each one while reading the group.
Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ? *** (In reply to comment #1) > I don't know if this is the right place to say it, but I think the Download now No, file a separate bug for this separate issue.
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 1.1 Branch
I'm not planning on working on this, but looking at the code, I believe it does happen.
