User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051006 Firefox/1.4.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051006 Firefox/1.4.1

When attempting to open a .swf file in the Firefox Beta 2 it attempts to open
the file using an external program rather then using the installed plugins. This
only occurs if the user is pointing the browser directly at the file, aka it
will not happen if it is a flash banner, ect, on a normal web page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the address bar to direct firefox at any existing .swf file
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Firefox opens the box asking whether you wish to save the file to disk or use a
program to open it.

Expected Results:
Firefox should have used the already installed and working flash plugin to open
the .swf file.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051012
Firefox/1.4.1 ID:2005101222

When I enter this in the address bar, I see the flash displayed:
http://svt.se/hogafflahage/hogafflaHage_site/Kor/hestekor.swf
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051013
Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005101303

Works for me. Please see http://plugindocs.mozdev.org/ for further support.
