User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051015 Firefox/1.4.1
Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 1.5 Beta 2 (20051015)
I add the URL above to the Thunderbird feed reader. TB adds the folder just
fine, and download current items. Items are updated just fine.
I can navigate feed items, seeing date, subject, and so on. But when I try to
read a item, i get a "file not found" error.
I suppose the problem is related to the feed title: "El Sentido de la Vida - Why
are we here?". The last char, a metachar in Unix, is "suspicious".
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add "http://www.elsentidodelavida.net/node/feed" to Thunderbird feed reader.
2. Thunderbird downloads the feed and creates a fonder called: "El Sentido de la
Vida - Why are we here?".
3. Go to the folder. Look at the messages.
4. Try to read a message. You will be get a "file not found" error.
Actual Results:
A "file not found" error.
Expected Results:
Display the actual message content.
Summary: A feed with metacharacters in the title will be unuseable → A feed with metacharacters in the title will render the feed unuseable
