Build Identifier: Software update from build Ver 1.0.6 to  1.0.7

Firefox was working fine when i had the 1.0.6 version, the moment i upgraded 
to the 1.0.7 version, i loss major browser functionality, THis is actually one 
of several major issues i have encountered that i will enter in other bug 
reports.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use a PC with windows XP pro, that has a Firefox ver 1.0.6
2. Make the Firefox style reflect that of Internet Explorer.
3. Update your 1.0.6 to a firefox 1.0.7 using the new update links that appear 
occasionally.
4. Have some one send you a personall message to your yahoo mail account from 
My space. 
5. Access the email notice of the new message.
6. Once in the email click on the link that will take you to Myspace to check 
your message.

Actual Results:  
Nothing will happen, at least not visually. Firefoe will start to use a large 
quantity of cpu mem i have seen it hit 90000 while i only had one window up. 
However this is not an isolated incident. The user will not be able to open a 
new link in a new window if they are in another website... Quite honestly i am 
using IE right now cause this is still unresolved. And i was unable to contact 
support since the problem would not let access a link from within the web 
browser, So by the time fire fox opened if it opened i was already unable to 
ask for help.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should be able to be updated in the instance posted in my description, 
without the user having a adverse effect to thier firefox functionality.

This is actually a major issue. I mean when i have had my computer on for a 
while and try to acces Firefox, it will litterally eat up all my CPU Memory, 
About 50 % of the time i am actually able to start firefox, and if it wasnt 
for the tab browsing i would never be able to open a link to a another website 
from a site where i am logged into.

Probably a bad extensions
retry in -safe-mode , see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

Fixed through up grade to 1.5b2 and thourgh further testing, my extension were
comfirmed to be the cuase of the problem when i entered safe mode, after
reloaded fiorefox 1.0.6 and 1.0.7. and my browser did not have an issue
