Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
When a link embedding a pdf file is opened in Firefox, a window pops up saying
'Acrobat plug-in' - "this operation is not allowed". The same links open in IE
easily.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open any url linked to a pdf file
2. Adobe launches itself and then stops, popping a window with the message noted
above
3. when you click ok, the window reads 'done'
Actual Results:
pdf files cannot be read in firefox while IE is happy to do it
Expected Results:
Firefox should be able to do this simple function.
