When i clicked the link for firefox It bounces in the dock for about 40 seconds
and than it opens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Mozilla Firefox

Actual Results:  
It bounced in the dock for 40 seconds. 

Expected Results:  
It should open automaticly.

This happens to me now, though it only bounces for about 2 seconds, not 40.
The Console reports "(QFA)Talkback error: Can't initialize." but that's it.

This started happening after a kernal panic due to bad memory, so something
is likely corrupted. I can't figure out what, though. Removing
    ~/Library/Preferences/org.mozilla.firefox.plist
does not help, nor does replacing the .app bundle with a fresh download.

This is 1.5.0.1 on PowerPC OS X 10.4.5.

Oops, the original report says that firefox _opens_ after the bouncing.
Mine does not. It stops after two bounces and it's as if I never attempted
to launch Firefox. I probably should have started another bug report.

For the record, removing
    ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox
allowed Firefox to start again.

Somehow the existance of this directory
eluded me when I was looking for such things.

Reporter, are you still experiencing this bug on a more recent Firefox build? It WORKSFORME on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007072204 Minefield/3.0a7pre

This is a mass search for bugs that are in the Firefox General component, are UNCO, and have not been changed for 1000 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the bug, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the resolution to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
