The BBC news homepage includes a Java applet ticker of current headlines. It doesn't display any text. It works in IE and in Netscape although in communicator 4.72 it displays smaller text and runs too quickly. It doesn't display at all in mozilla M14
Java is not part of Mozilla nightly or release builds. Java can be "plugged in" to Mozilla but without plugging in a compatible JRE you will not see any Java functionality. Marking Invalid. This was explained in the release notes for M14 http://mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/release-notes/m14-detail.html#java further information on the current status of Java in Mozilla can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/oji/
