Sometimes when reading an RSS feed, the vertical scrollbar fails to appear in the message window even though the content is obviously longer than the window. Moving focus to the message pane by clicking in it, allows scrolling with the up/down arrow keys.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a feed in message list

Actual Results:  
Vertical scrollbar fails to appear in message window

Expected Results:  
Scrollbar should always appear in content is longer then the message pane.

Can the reporter of this bug reproduce the problem? It's been a few years, and many versions since it was reported.

I haven't been able to reproduce this on OS X 10.4 (Tiger) running Thunderbird 2.0.0.16 (20080707), so maybe it was fixed some time ago.
