   Bookmarks Menu and Bookmarks Toolbar: Lost bookmarks. Poof Gone. After a restart. Not able to make new bookmarks from the history file.

   On which note... the History File moved to Bonjour.

   Removed and replaced the Preference file... started each time with missing data.

   Attempted .84(?). With and without preferences. Still no bookmarks and the history were in Rendevous.

What happens if you move aside your entire ~/Library/Application Support/Camino folder?  Can you create bookmarks then?

What's the file size of the bookmarks.plist currently in that folder?  Can you attach it to this bug?

I just had this happen to me two days ago on my Win XP box. Everything was fine when I shut down the machine. Next morning I turn it on and login, suddenly Firefox has no bookmarks and won't remember window formatting. Every time I restart it the window is tall and thin.

I was running 1.5 beta 2 and have since uninstalled and reinstalled RC1 and the problem persists.

[e-mail]: Camino's bookmarks implementation is all its own; you need to find a Firefox bug.

Downloaded the latest nightly build the same day the incident happened. Nothing weird so far. Am keeping a list of the workarounds sent in case it happens again.

RC, I'm going to close this bug as WORKSFORME since you aren't seeing any issues with a more recent nightly.

However, if you see this happen again, reopen the bug and follow the instructions in comment 1 so we can try and figure out what went wrong.
