I'd like to rename my old cvs account from hwaara@chello.se to hwaara@gmail.com Also I'm at the same time attaching my public ssh key.
Attached file key.pub
I already renamed the account using despot, but I don't have access to make CVS SSH key changes.
Maybe this was assigned to the wrong component? Anyway, it'd be nice if someone fixed this soon since I'm getting eager to check in once again. :-)

[root@megalon root]# renamecvsuser.sh hwaara@chello.se hwaara@gmail.com Old username does not exist. Bailing out... ??? Have you ever had access to cvs in the last two years? It looks like you've never been set up for ssh access, but your despot account is active, and they supposedly disabled everyone who didn't submit a key within 6 months after they locked it down... Or did dmose reactivate it when he renamed you?

I don't know if dmose reactivated me. I have not been active in the project since around 2002, which is why I've never used the SSH-variant. Is it possible to reactivate me there?
Yep, we can set you up. Just verifying that's what we needed to do first. You should be all set now. Your new CVSROOT for checkins will be: hwaara%gmail.com@cvs.mozilla.org:/cvsroot Don't forget to set the CVS_RSH environment variable to 'ssh'. If you have any problems connecting, let me know.

Thanks! I have a slight problem when setting this up in windows, first I thought it was due to my windows login that contains the character "Ä", but I renamed the cygwin home path now in the etc/passwd, and I still get the same. Do you guys have any idea about this? $ cvs up Could not create directory '/hakan/.ssh'. The authenticity of host 'cvs.mozilla.org (207.126.111.201)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 89:37:28:c1:40:7d:5f:1c:43:12:ed:9e:3c:be:b2:02. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? no Host key verification failed. cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
As long as it matches one of these two keys: 07:f4:31:ee:93:3b:94:42:b3:cb:06:3d:30:b8:95:f6 89:37:28:c1:40:7d:5f:1c:43:12:ed:9e:3c:be:b2:02 Answer yes to that question instead of no. However, unless you figure out what permission problem is causing it to not be able to create the .ssh directory you're going to have to answer that question every time instead of just the first time.
Fix checked in for the first time in years. Woho!
