User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 When I visited this site sent by a coworker, I got a pop-up window ad even though I have pop-ups blocked and normally don't see them. So they've found a way around FF blocking. It happened when I clicked on a link in an email, and Firefox was already running so it opened the link in that instance in a new tab. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Clicked on link in email (above copied from source) 2. Firefox was already open 3. Opened in new tab 4. Pop-up blocking is on always Actual Results: I've only tried it twice and it only happened the first time I clicked on the link, but I got a pop-up ad. Expected Results: Should have blocked the pop-up ad.
In Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051026 Firefox/1.5, I don't see a popup, but I do see a "popup blocked" message. Please try again using Firefox 1.5 Beta 2; popup blocking has improved a lot since Firefox 1.0.x.
