Description

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051006 Firefox/1.4.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b5) Gecko/20051006 Firefox/1.4.1

This problem may manifest itself in some circumstances other than the one I experience (such as screen resizes), but here is my issue:

My laptop's docking station profile has a screen resolution of 1280x1024. I generally hibernate my XP laptop with Firefox running. When I start it again in the undocked profile (with a screen resolution of 1024x768), Firefox refuses to give me horizontal or vertical scrollbars, especially when the screen has been maximized before hibernating. This problem appears to only happen when going from a docked profile of a larger size to a lower size.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Maximize firefox with an open window.
2. Undock laptop (with a larger display in the docked profile than undocked)
3. Start laptop - and try to browse in firefox. Scrollbars will not appear.

Actual Results:
No scrollbars.

Expected Results:
Showed the scrollbars where necessary.
Do you still see this problem using Firefox 3.5? Please update the bug, and close/alter bug if appropriate.

No reply, INCO. Please reopen if you are seeing this in Firefox 3.5.2 or later in Firefox safe mode and a new profile with the latest plugins.
