When you print a document with frame, if you don't modify the default choice in the printing box, you'll have one printing by frame. There's no possibilty to define this default choice for printing as screen in configuration.
It will be great to have this possibility.
For the newbie, it's too complicated, and he don't understand why there's so pages   
printing. Maybe default printing as screen ?

It seems to be nearly the same thing,
but it's not only a problem of saving the preference.
the most important is printing as screen by default even if we can't 
save this preference. More easy to correct ?

Right and this is covered by bug 169132: Change Print Menu Default to "Print as laid out in Preview"
