User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6

We use a javascript mouseover application on our web site and found that any theme applied to Firefox will cause the anchor-linked images to shift left or right when moused over. This was not limited to just a single theme. Themes tested:
1) Aquatint 1.3.4
2) Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) 2.88

The problem seems to go away when themes are removed and the standard Firefox default skin is used.

This problem can be replicated when using anyone of the above themes (Im sure others) by visiting www.sun.com or our site, www.appliedwatch.com and mouseover any of the far right mouse-over images. This presents a concern for any customers of ours that use firefox and have a theme installed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install any theme. Confirmed to be reproduced with Aquatint and Noia
2. Load skin and browse to www.sun.com or www.appliedwatch.com. Move mouse over far right images and cause mouse-overs of main image. You will see main mouseover image shift to the left causing a white line to appear.
3. This problem has been reproduced not only on our site but others as well (www.sun.com)

I also noticed this appears on other images on our web site at www.appliedwatch.com. Move the mouse arrow left/right over the hospital nurse image on our main index page below the javascript mouseovers. This image, which causes to shift is not any sort of javascript but is actually a simple anchor-linked image. So therefore this problem is most likely not linked to Javascript -- rather, any anchor-linked image.

Expected Results:
A white line will appear that is caused from the images shifting to the left.

Images should not shift left or right when moused-over.
I tried to reproduce this without success using the following two builds (also on Win32) and the latest Noia2 theme
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051103 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005110304
Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) 2.991

Perhaps it is an extension or userContent.css modification... try with a new profile to see if you can reproduce. Also, the Extension/Theme Manager manages the install, upgrade, update, uninstall, etc. for extensions and themes... it does not manage the interaction of extensions and themes beyond that.
Reporter - are you still experiencing this? If so, please try with a new profile. This is still WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051121 Firefox/1.5 ID:2005112104 and Noia 2.0 (eXtreme) 2.991
