User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051103 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051103 Firefox/1.6a1 Some Flash don't respond to clicking even though it's supposed to navigate to another web page. The Flash version is Shockwave Flash 8.0 r22. No extensions are installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://ps2.ign.com/ (Skip the page-wide ad if it appears and proceed to the main page) 2. In the middle of the page you see the big Flash area with "TODAY ON IGN" at its head 3. Left-click the Flash Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: It navigates you to another webpage. If you right-click on the flash to get the Flash context-menu then immediately left-click on the flash, it works. Besides, if you choose Setting in the Flash right-click menu, all items in the setting windows don't respond to clicking. This problem doesn't occur on the Flash on the top page of http://www.macromedia.com/ If you load the Flash directly (http://media.ign.com/xml/test/top.swf?storyxml=http://media.ign.com/xml/test/topstoryxml_70.xml&tickerxml=http://media.ign.com/xml/70/tickerxml.xml&mode=2&channel=70) it works. IE has no problem like this. I think it's a regression as it's been working in a month-old trunk build.
It brings me to http://ps2.ign.com/articles/663/663863p1.html but only one time. This is very likely a duplicate of Bug 314604.

Now these comments about Flash 8.5 are letdown though :( From Bug 311622 Comment #3 >This has been fixed and will be available in the next major release of Flash (Flash Player 8.5). From Bug 311622 Comment #6 >Flash Player 8.5 will be released in the first half of 2006. Sorry I can't be more specific. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 311622 ***
