Many XUL applications do not require the default scrollbar behaviour becuase they represent physical devices (not graphical). consequently overflow:-moz-scrollbars-none is used with XUL elements to hide them.

<iframe  id="iframe" style="overflow:-moz-scrollbars-none" flex="1" 	 />

or

<browser  id="browser" style="overflow:-moz-scrollbars-none" flex="1" 	 />

This works fine EXCEPT for preview mode which restores them . This looks like a simple fix but nerver-the- less its quite annoying - are there any workarounds as an interim solution. ??

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.<iframe  id="iframe" style="overflow:-moz-scrollbars-none" flex="1" 	 />
2. now switch to preview mode and the scrollbars appear
3.

Actual Results:
scrollbars shown

Expected Results:
no scrollbars shown
MozillaAS v1.7.x is not supported anymore.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
