When I open the setting in the french version, and click on teh "navigation par onglets" tab, I have a red message :

But I don't have any option. This message stay in the setting windows when I change tab.

Not confirmed with mozilla firefox 1.5.rc1 fr build.
There is no tabs on the tab settings. 
There is no "navigation par onglets" pref.

Can you confirm that you have a clean build without any extension ?

There isn't any tab labelled "navigation par onglets" in the standard distribution of Firefox in French. 

You are probably referring to an extension settings panel, on which we doesn't have any control. Please contact the extension author or its localizer.
