This testcase renders the outer element with 100% width instead of using the shrink-to-fit algorithm.

There is additional commentary on this bug report for Konqueror: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95146 The latest versions of Konqueror, Opera and Safari do not exhibit the same behaviour as Firefox. Firefox 1.0.x and 1.5 RC 1 behave the same as each other. The relevant part of the CSS 2.1 specification is here: http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/visudet.html#abs-non-replaced-width
