Firefox 1.5 rc 1 is slow on mac osx (tiger) - seems to eat more and more memory over time (as reported by memory cell) and get more and more sluggish. Often when it gets really slow, it will hang, and have to be force quitted because it won't respond to quit.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run firefox for a while (hour or so) visit a few pages
2.observe memory usage increase and performance decrease

Firefox 1.5 rc 1 is rather old at this point, and this isn't really a very helpful bug report. Marking as INVALID. Feel free to report specific performance issues with current versions of Firefox (i.e. "the browser is sluggish when I load this page" or "Firefox is leaking memory in this function").
