User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051031 Firefox/1.5 (pigfoot) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051104 Mozilla Sunbird/0.3a1 When you create a event for example with the date 12.11.1968 and then you open this event from the calendar view, sunbird will crash. This problem was reported to me, by a german user. He tried to import his old 0.2 calendar and when he tried to open such a discribed event, sunbird crashes. He used this events for marking birthdays. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a event wih a date before 01.01.1970 (e.g. 12.11.1968) 2. Try to access and open this event in the calendar view, sunbird will crash 3. Actual Results: Sunbird crashed
Could this be the same problem as in bug 304164 (duplicate of bug 278236)? (But in the other time direction)

Maybe this should be added to the Known Bugs section of the Sunbird 0.3 alpha1 Release Notes. There is already this section "Windows versions of Sunbird 0.3 alpha1 will crash for dates after 2037".
