A lot of items which are configurable under Mozilla 1.7.12 are not configurable under Firefox. Just compare the Edit/Preferences of Mozilla 1.7.12 with the settings from Firefox. Reproducible: Always

about:config is not a enduser ready interface. I think this a usability issue and should be fixed. Because Mozilla 1.7.12 already had a better user interface.

Firefox isn't meant to be Seamonkey, filing a bug saying as much won't get you anything. If you want the configurability of Seamonkey, use Seamonkey :).
