User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/0.9 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/0.9 There is a red arrow in the upper right hand corner of the browser saying I have critical updates that need to be installed. When I click it, it says Shellblock Patch from mozilla.org. When I try to install it, it says it was installed and when i restart firefox it will be working. But I restart and its still there. THis has been there for a couple of months and I have tried to install it numerous times. I have also installed the latest version and it still happens. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click red arrow 2. install shellblock patch 3. restart mozilla Actual Results: it stays there Expected Results: shouldnt be in critical updates
jbergson, you should really upgrade to a newer version! There have been lots of bugfixes and improvements since 0.9 including a complete overhaul of the update system! :) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 268560 ***
