I have a 1920*1200 resolution screen on my laptop :P and the banner image at the top repeats on all pages - it would look ok but the bottom left corner is bevelled so you get a kink in the line.

3. examine banner image

I don't know of a way to fix that without making it look even siller.

Hi, if you want a couple of ideas...
1, the bodge - just make the image wider, 2000 would cover almost everyone or even 1600 would cover those with 1600x1200 which is a lot more common than my 1920x.

2, the slightly more elegant - seeing as the title doesn't really zoom very well anyway, you could make it fixed height. Then all the corners could be square and the white corner on the logo could go on the bottom as well as top.

3, the I'm not sure how it's done on http://www.mozilla.org/ but that would seem to be the best of the lot... you'd get nice round corners on the right hand side as well (separate image I believe)

Anyway, feel free to mark this as trivial but I reckon there must be a reasonably easy fix that would allow me to continue being smug about the resolution of my screen while it slowly turns me blind.

Yeah, the current header is a hack that from some of the HTML/CSS from Mozilla.org (which has a whole other set of flexible width/height considerations).

We're backed up with some other Mozilla web work right now, but I do plan to revisit this and clean up the header at some point in the ambiguous future.
