Firefox fails to open a new window correctly while a print dialog is open in another window

If I open another Firefox window when an existing one has the print window open the new window doesn't appear correctly. There are no tabs, no bookmarks, and the homepage doesn't load.
Additionally, I was testing while writing this and when the print window is open in the other session the text I type appears backwards! !siht ekiL

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a Firefox session
2.Open the print window
3.Open another session

Actual Results:  
The session opened at step three doesn't load any bookmarks, tabs or homepage.


Expected Results:  
The session opened in step 3 should look like the one opened in step one

If the print window is closed then the behaviour returns to normal.
In order to test the backwards text open 2 browser windows, in one open the Print dialog box and then in the other type some text into a form. Weird isn't it?

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME
