Bug 105894 concerns partially off-screen links causing a scroll when clicked. My company uses network monitoring software based on image maps, and with this bug, any image map bigger than the viewport is unusable. The patch is only a few lines, and doesn't seem like it could cause problems elsewhere (but, I am not a C++ programmer.)

I'm sure it's too late for Firefox 1.5, but maybe if it was checked into the 1.8 branch it would be there for Firefox 1.5.1?

Reproducible: Always

Filing an extra bug doesn't help; it would be better to suggest that on the existing bug or nominate it for blocking status.
