User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 When I press Ctrl+C keyboard combination in MS Windows, text is not copied as it did in Firefox before 1.5 RC1. I upgraded to RC2, and still experience the same bug. I only experience this problem on regular web page text. the combination works fine in text boxes, and other form input items. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select any text (not in a text box, but in regular page text). 2. Press CTRL+C on the keyboard. 3. Try to paste into a text entry field, or into any outside Windows application that receives text. Actual Results: Nothing happens (or older clipboard text is pasted instead). Expected Results: The selected text that was supposed to be copied should have been pasted.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051115 Firefox/1.6a1 ID:2005111522 Works for me. Maybe some extension is causing this?
Sorry, I wasn't aware of what "Safe Mode" actually did. I ran Firefox in safe mode, and experience no problems. So I guess the problem must be an extension. I will withdraw the bug and test more carefully until I identify the misbehaving extension. Thanks.

When I hit ctrl+c the text does not copy, but I can copy and paste stuff into Firefox using (programs like) notepad just fine. Also going to Edit > Copy doesn't work as well. Please fix this as soon ASAP!
(In reply to comment #4) > When I hit ctrl+c the text does not copy, but I can copy and paste stuff into > Firefox using (programs like) notepad just fine. Also going to Edit > Copy > doesn't work as well. Please fix this as soon ASAP! > I assume you're running Firefox 1.5.0.2 (latest version). Does it copy correctly when you run it in Safe Mode? (For safe mode, Go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Mozilla Firefox -> Mozilla Firefox [Safe Mode].) If it works OK in safe mode, then the problem is an extension, not Firefox itself. If Firefox still gives the error, then report back here. If safe mode works OK, then to identify the problematic extension you will need to disactivate all extensions, then enable them one by one (restarting Firefox each time) until you identify the extension that is causing the problem.
