It can also be seen when using the composer. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the file attached 2.wait 3. Actual Results: See screenshots

I see this bug too: look at http://papyr.com/hypertextbooks/comp1/ for another example in action. I use seamonkey creature-trunk builds, and the last build that rendered these animated gifs correctly for me was 2005110908.
I just installed the seamonkey creature-trunk 2005111719 (win xp sp2), and the animated gif in comment #4 renders fine now. Resolve works-for-me?
The problem seems to be fixed with build 2005111709
Based on the regression window and the fact that it seems to be fixed now, it looks like more fallout from bug 301594. See bug 316982 and bug 315966 for more details. Resolving WFM per reporter's comments. Please reopen if this appears again.
