Details

Using 2000-03-13 beta branch commercial builds, all platforms

When drag&dropping a message to an expanded folder hierarchy a selection box is
most often drawn around all the folders in the expanded hierarch, making it
difficult to tell where you're really dragging to.

1. In mail window, select/open a local or IMAP account, login if necessary.
2. Create a folder with some subfolders. Expand this folder hierarchy in the
folder pane.
3. Select a message and drag it to the top level folder which has subfolder(s).

Result: The target selection box/indicator for the drag&drop draws around the
folder AND its subfolders.

Expected result: Target selection box/indicator should draw around/select only
the individual folder where mouse is pointing. It should not encompass the
folder hierarchy.

Mike, as Laurel said, the expected feedback is to only draw drop feedback around
one folder, not around the group of folders.

If that's part of bug 9657, that's fine, but 9657 is pretty generic-sounding to me.
not anymore ;)
Put myself on cc list for master bug #9657 and will revisit/verify any mail/news
duplicate bugs when master is fixed.

The condition in this bug no longer exists using mar30 m15 commercial builds.

Laurel: wow, and I thought I was the only one here who actually verifies bugs
marked as duplicate of engineering bugs. Thanks!
